With the rapid development of high-grade road and city spatial transportation, skew girder bridges are extensively built. So it brings up lots of new problems for computation theory and method of skew girder bridges. This paper primarily aims at the deficiency of conventional computation method of skew girder bridges, calculates and analyses skew girder bridge based on integrated finite element method. The model with integrated finite element method for whole bridge is relatively detailed, and can calculate stress and displacement of every member and part of whole bridge. So it is an effective method for detailed calculation and analysis of bridge structure behavior. General purpose analysis software is applied to establish and calculate a model of integrated finite element model for whole bridge. Firstly, author calculates a test model of skew girder bridge with a span of 1 m, and compares with the test result, hence validate accuracy of integrated finite element method. Secondly author calculates and analyses normal stress and shear stress of the girder for a assembling post-tensioned concrete skew girder bridge with a span of 40 m due to the actions of the dead load, temperature changes, shrinkage and creep of concrete and live loads, and calculates and analyses normal stress and shear stress of diaphragms due to the actions of the subordinate phase dead load, temperature changes, shrinkage and creep of concrete and live loads. Furthermore, author calculates distribution of bearing reaction due to the actions of the subordinate phase dead load and live loads. Author also stressly calculates plane deformations of skew girder bridge due to the actions of the subordinate phase dead load, temperature changes, shrinkage and creep of concrete and vehicle loads in different places, and thereby analyses the characteristics of plane movement for the skew girder bridge. So author believes mechanical behaviors of skew girder bridge is obviously different from that of square beam bridge, and it is an important problem that many factors result in plane deformations of skew girder bridge.
