As we know, the lightweight aggregate concrete is an ideal building material on account of its properties. In Guangxi region, the research on lightweight aggregate concrete is only beginning, the properties of the new material needs to be further experimented on. In this paper, the author focuses on these properties according to some experiments and researches, which include the carrying capacity of twenty-four wall panels of haydite concrete, the elastic modulus of haydite concrete and the relationship of the prism compressive strength and the cube compressive strength.Based on the results of experiment, the author draws the conclusion as follows: stability coefficient formula of haydite concrete: elastic modulus formula of haydite concrete : the formula about the relationship betweenthe prism compressive strength and the cube compressive strengthThe experimental results show that the compression mechanics properties of lightweight concrete, whose coarse aggregate is madeof haydite produced in Guangxi region completely meets the regulation of Specification for Design of Lightweight Aggregate Concrete Structures (JGJ12-99) and the requirement in practice.
