The key factor influencing the automobile's drive bridge performance is the reducer assembly quality, and the tightening at the bearing of the front-part of the driving gear axis is an important problem in the process of the reducer assembly. The sleeve-selection machine of the driving taper gear assembly of automobile's drive bridge developed in this project is a key measure equipment in the reducer assembly line and it can be used to select sleeves in the assembly process of the driving gear axis. This machine is controlled by the industry control computer, which can measure the clearance along the driving taper gear axes and select the suitable sleeves so that the clearance can be eliminated and the set tightening of the bearing can be achieved. In this paper, the measure principle and the design idea of this machine are studied and the mechanical structure and the electric control principle are illuminated. The author puts emphasis on the software design and introduces the technique of application linked with dynamic link libraries (DLL) in details. With the effective utilization of this machine and other equipments of the assembly line, the reducer assembly quality and the automobile's drive bridge performance are improved greatly.
