In DCS control system, producing process flow charts are the important interfaces which connect operators and producing processes. Through flow charts on CRT, operators not only can observe the general situation of producing flow, but also can observe the details of certain adjusting circuits. With the improvement of the capabilities of CRT and CPU, users demand more and more strongly that flow charts should reflect producing processes truthfully and vividly. So one side flow charts should become three dimensional gradually, the other side flow charts should realize vivid animation. Many new-style DCS systems developing companies employ Windows technology to draw and show flow charts. Using the technology, users can draw three-dimensional flow charts, display dynamic information and display multi-windows. So under this condition, complete CRT simulation training systems emerge.Through analyzing and comparing operation interfaces displaying technologies and operation modes of various DCS control systems, we can conclude common grounds of all DCS control systems: static graphics objects, dynamic displaying objects and active operating objects are the three basic objects of DCS operation interfaces. So on the base of these three basic objects, the author develops one flow chart configuration simulation software on Windows/NT operation system with VC++, which will be used in complete CRT simulation training systems. The software supplies beautiful operation interface, mighty functions of drawing and editing graphics and three-dimensional graphics library, which enable users to design more vivid flow charts. It sustains all fuctions from drawing static flow charts to enabling these chart to reflect producing processes and realizing opration. And the configuration modes are so convenient and simple that users only need to know basic computer operating skills and corresponding specialty knowledge.Apart from the flow chart configuration software for configuration engineers, one displaying management software is also developed in the thesis. Employing the software, all showing and operating functions of the flow charts drawn and configured using the flow chart configuration software can be realized. Operators can control and operate producing processes through these flow charts.
