Under the environment of power market, large amount of power wheeling and transmission contracts are frequently trading. It has put forward new technical problems to need be solved immediately how to calculate accurately and improve the Total Transfer Capability (TTC) of transmission network. This paper presents a mathematical model of the TTC calculation in power market considering FACTS devices, which takes steady-state security constraints, control parameter constraints and steady-state limits of FACTS devices into account. This paper develops user-defined model and user program interface based on the envirenment of PSASP/UPI to realize FACTS control. The calculation of TTC is solved by repeatitive linear iteration based on sensitivity computation. It is implemented by DLL programming with PSASP/UPI. The 14-bus IEEE test system has shown validity of the model and feasibility of proposed algorithm, which quantifies the role of FACTS devices...
