On the basis of analyzing and comparing presently microcomputer generator-transformer units protection, the design scheme of a novel numerical generator-transformer units protection is presented, the hardware circuit and software of man machine interface is designed, a model of man machine interface is made successfully. In this scheme, the hardware platform composed by advanced 32-bit embedded microprocessor unit and high-precision 16-bit A/D is adopted. In the design of its software, the traditional thought is discarded, the method based on multi-task real-time operating system is used. Through analysis and comparison, it is concluded that the scheme takes on such distinct merits as advanced system, high reliability, being apt to develop and maintain and upgrade and extend and so on.
