The internal combustion engine mainly exists two kinds of vibration problem, ie. Torsional vibration of transmission system and structural vibration of internal combustion engine as a whole. In this dissertation we are mainly discuss the vibration of internal combustion engine as a whole. In order to improve the working conditions of the internal combustion engine, the microcomputer,the auto-control theory and the active absorb control method are adopted to control the vibration of the internal combustion engine by means of the easily installed anti-vibration equipment as a research target and the vibration velocity of the engine as the control aim. According to the characters of the vibration of internal combustion engine and on bases of the theory of active vibrantion control which is carefully analyzed, the corresponding mathematical model suitable for the vibration of internal combustion engine is developed and the fuzzy control techniques are adopted. A new active vibration control system is developed which conclude MCU,the key part, and the equipment used to survey the vibrative acceleration of internal combustion engine. The primary contents are divided into three parts and the following is the contents.In the first part: In combination of the modern theory with the theory of mechanical vibration, the basic principles and approachesfor active vibration control are systematically and briefly discussed. The corresponding mathematical model is developed for the systems with single degree of freedom; the regulation rules and fundamental solutions of the transfer functions of the system are analyzed. On the basic of this, the mathematical models of the structural vibration of internal combustion engine as a whole is developed for the systems with six degrees of freedom.In the second part: the active control system is detailedly designed. The microcomputer of AT89C52 is the key part of the system which include transducers ,charge amplifiers, filters, A/D transformer as well as the executive circuit which is corresponding with stepper motor. How to select this hard ware and how to design the soft ware is detailedly discussed in the dissertation. The fuzzy control rule is adopted in this dissertation.In the third part: according to the active control system, experiment is carried out and the result of the experiment is detailedly analyzed. By analyzing the datas of the experiment, a conclusion can be drawed that the structural vibration of the internal combustion engine can be controlled under the regular scope.
