There has not been a scientific design theory about the jointless bridge whereas it has been conducted successfully for a long time in the U.S.The actual design ways basically depend on the experience and observaration.What is more, the analytical method and the design of the crunodal details are still dealed with on the whole.In fact,it is a very important part to deal with the crunodal structure between the abutment and beam in the design and conduction of the jointless bridge.In addition,the loaded properties of the crunode are the key and difficulty in the study of the jointless bridge.Therefor,there are engineering and practical significances of analyzing the crunodal structure and studying its loaded properties. Consequently, this paper focuses on the crunodal structure and its loaded properties. The main contents of the paper are described as follows: a.Two types of crunodal structures are brought forward, which are compositive structure and protuberant-wedged structure;fixed structure and jointed structure ,two traditional crunodal structures, are introduced. Then the details of all the crunodal structures are analyzed and their uses in the engereering are described,,incluing their factures and constructuring sequences. b. Based on the above-mentioned structures and a practical bridge, analyzed models for the bridge are built and the crunodal load are analyzed in the actions of combination of several loads. c. Finite-element solid models of all kinds of crunodal structure are built,and the stress distributing are analyzed ,then analyzing parameters is carried through. Based on the above analysis, reasonal crunodal-structures are brought forward by modifying the above ones. d. loaded characteristics of all kinds of crunodal structures are compared.f.The experiment for crunodal model are done,and its results are compared with the ones of the finite model.
