Remote monitor system is important for power system to run safely. In this paper, FSK signal of power remote is analyzed in time-domain and frequency-domain. Based on the analysis, a new method to detect carrier frequency of FSK signal named time-domain joint and modern power spectrum estimation is put forward. Then one remote supervision system based on virtual Instrument technology is studied and realized. The system can measure parameters such as signal level, carrier frequency and SNR of remote channel, and can estimate the state of remote channel based on this parameters, and can display the time-domain and frequency-domain wave real time of remote channel, too. The hardware of the system based on NI PCI DAQ card and the software of the system is designed in the graph language-LabVIEW. Through on site test, it is proved that the system is valid and reliable.
