The paper studies the pitch-regulated structure and stand-alone control system about MW wind turbine group. The background of the paper is "MW variable-speed constant-frequency wind turbine group(No. 2001AA512022)",which is supported by National 863 Plan.Compared with fix-pitch wind turbine, the variable-pitch wind turbine has the virtue : stable output power over rated power, high wind power coefficient, holding rated power at high wind speed, good starting and shut-off etc.. According to the effect of variable-pitch system, we can divide the operation process into three states: starting, below rated power and rated power. The result of computer and analysis based on blade elements theory shows us that we can regulate the rotate speed of wind turbine rotor by changing set angle and pitch H.Variable-pitch system is the key component of the whole wind turbine, which can assure safely pitch-control and brake. It is composed of two components: level move and rotation. Level move is realized by the co-operation of oil vat, handspike and synchronizer. Rotation is realized by the brace and the triangle oriented axis. Based on 1MW wind turbine design, this paper offers one reasonable variable-pitch structure, which can response quickly and operate conveniently. The drive impetus deduces from computation and analyses, which can provide design parameter for hydraulic pressure system.The control system of wind turbine includes individual control and group control. According to the control process and main technical parameter, the paper accomplishes the control system structure design and input-output system design. This paper also deeply analyzes the operation principle of the whole control system and the relation between each part in order to realize the no-person automatic operate.
