Traditional ways of producing, thinking and life style are greatly affected by new technology and new idea. The conflicts between traditional mode and modernization are getting sharper and sharper. So it is our main theme to discuss how to grasp the direction of transformation by analyzing the formation and generation process of traditional buildings and realizing its various tendencies affected by modern culture.Our aim is to study the transformation of the factors relevant to those houses in order to find a proper way to the modernization of vernacular residences in countryside.
