For designing commercial airplane, the good or the bad of its maintainability determines the cost of transportation after used and will affect its competition in the market. So the maintainability of airplane must be considered and emphasized at the early stage of design.In order to ensure that the maintainability of airplane is actualized in the design, the maintainability of airplane must be evaluated and validated. Method of evaluation and validation of civil aircraft maintainability is studied in the paper from quantitative view, the research of this paper includes three questions.1. Now in our nation the system of maintainability parameter and value suited in warplane, a whole and feasible the system of civil aircraft is offered in the paper.2. Models of evaluation and validation of civil aircraft maintainability parameter and value fitted in the engineering and in the computer are studied. Characteristic of those models are analyzed and compared. Different model should be selected in the different aircraft system.3. Apply random net and neural net to evaluation and validation of civil aircraft maintainability, validate maintenance time of aircraft lighting system and landing gear system.The ways provided by this paper is instructive to constitute successfully a computer system of maintainability evaluation and validation of airplane.
