Research On Computer-aided Airplane Maintainability Design And Analysis Technology

The maintainability of airplane should be considered well at the early stage ofdesign to reduce the life cycle cost of the civil airplane system. Firstly, by analyzingthe matter of traditional maintainability design and reviewing domestic andinternational related researches, this paper puts forward the concept of "the virtualanalysis of maintainability", defines the basic way of thinking and research contentsof computer-aided maintainability design and analysis. According to the basicrequirements of maintainbility, the rules of maintainability design of civil airplaneare confirmed, and the general qualitative requirements are describedquantificationally. Secondly, this paper establishes all levels of maintenance timemodel and maintenance man-hour model combining current maintainability modelresearches. Then the total structure model of maintainability analysis based on virtualreality is built by analyzing the system function and characteristics. In order tofurther define and simplify the process of virtual maintenance, aiming at the maincomponent of maintenance, dissembly and assembly, the author does someresearches such as assembly modeling, the process of dissembly and assembly, andthe method of ordering dissembly or assembly, and establishes the evaluation systemof dissembly and assembly for maintainility. To facilitate managing 3D digitalmodels of maintenance objects, a part library management system is established.Finally, on the basis of researches on realizing virsual maintenance environment, theauthor sets up the virtual maitaining environment, analyzes the reachability, thevisibility, the interference and posture-comfortability. As a design tool, the methodhas been verified primarily for its feasibility to make vitual maintainability design oranalysis. Through this research, it comes to the method system of maintainability designand analysis based on the virtual reality, which makes up the shortage of themaintainability design and validation delaying to product design. And it lays a goodfoundation for the establishment of the vitual maintainability design and analysissystem as well as other researches.
