In accordance with the condition that the higher harmonic overproofs in the 110kV substation in Chucun Cangzhou and the request that voltage- reactive power overall control will be realized in the whole substation, this paper focuses on how to bring substation harmonic and voltage- reactive power under control, and puts forward solutions and technical measures. This paper analyzes harmonic's influence on capacitor and capacitor's amplification function on harmonic. Capacitor sectionalization and harmonic harnessing are raised as solutions to bring higher harmonic under control. Referring to the equipments in the substation and the grid parameters, voltage- reactive power overall control is put forward as a scheme to keep the voltage stable. And according to the above schemes, a set of overall control system fitted to the worksite is developed to realize the regulation and control of the grid.
