Compared with normal Synchronous Motors, the Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) is effective, high pull-in torque, fast speed response and well speed precision in open loop. But it is hard to get the optimum of the system by the inherent coupling and non-linearity of the PMSM. So, based on the Transvector Control, the scheme of Generalized Predictive Control (GPC) is studied for PMSM. And the result of simulation and experiment are given. The system models of PMSM are analized and the standard Gerneralized predictive control are expressed. Based on the analysis of the math models of PMSM, the Single Inpute and Single Output (SISO) Controlled auto-regressive intergrated moving average (CARIMA) model is setup in the rotor's reference frame, and it is used to implement the GPC scheme of the PMSM. And in the design of current predictive controller, a decoupling method of current and voltage with a state feedback in the rotor's reference frame is proposed. Based on the state equations, the optimal control law is obtained. Then the predictive controller based on nonlinear state equations is discussed. In chapter 6, Fast algorithm of predictive control and the analyse of the simulation system, and the parameters of the GPC controller is discussed in the MATLAB.At last, the implementation of predictive control of PMSM is presentation.
