Under the double oppression of energy crisis and environmental degradation,the development of the automobile industry is facing increasingly severe test. Anddeveloping the electric car is an important approach to solve the problem of energyand the environment. As the core component in a pure electric vehicle power system,the motor and its control system performance directly determine the entire carsperformance.This article selects the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) as thetraction motor of a pure electric vehicle, adopts the high speed DSP chipTMS320LF2407A as the core chip of the control circuit and uses SVPWMtechnology and id=0vector control strategy to develop the PMSM control system.Firstly, in terms of the characteristics of PMSM and by using the mathematicalmodel of permanent magnet synchronous motor in the two-phase rotating coordinatesystem (d,q) and the Clark,Park and Park inverse coordinate transformation. On thebasis of PMSM vector control principle, introduced the double-loop vector controlsystem of PMSM.Secondly, the main hardware circuit diagram of the control system is designedcombined with the vector control strategy of PMSM in electric vehicle. It mainlyincludes the main circuit, the stator current detection circuit, the DC voltagedetection circuit, the motor speed and rotor position detection circuit, theovercurrent protection circuit, the relay output circuit and the CAN buscommunication circuit design.Thirdly, this paper introduced the concept of space vector and elaborated theSVPWM technology principle and the implementation of SVPWM technologycontrol algorithm. Under the circumstance of MATLAB/SIMULINK, the PMSMdouble closed-loop vector control system simulation model was constructed based onSVPWM technology and the use of id=0vector control strategy. The results show thatthe PMSM system which designed and developed by using vector control methodresponds much faster, has good dynamic and static characteristic and improves the performance of PMSM speed control.Last, the pure electric car motor test rig is set and the designed motor controlsystem has been tested. The experiment results show that the permanent magnetsynchronous motor system can satisfy the requirement of the electric car use.
