The Researches On The Meshing Theory Of End Face Harmonic Gear Drive Of Oscillating Teeth

The history and the actuality of the common harmonic gear drive and the oscillating teethdrive are introduced in this paper. Their advantages and disadvantages are indicated byanalyzing their structure and transmission characteristic. The end face harmonic gear driveof oscillating teeth is firstly introduced in the condition of the analyses. The end faceharmonic gear drive of oscillating teeth contains the advantages of the common harmonicgear drive and the oscillating teeth drive, and it belongs to the three dimensional spaceoscillating teeth gear drive. The instantaneous speed ratio formula is deduced by differential coefficient, andthe condition of preserving it is deduced.
