For the measurement of lens parameters, traditional method is based on pure mechanical and optical system, or just simply assisted by nixie tubes. This brings many inconveniences in adjusting and measuring, and it can hardly ensure the measurement precision and efficiency.In this article, a lens parameters measurement system based on DSP, which is developing very fast in recent years, is established, and digital CMOS image sensor is used to convert measurement optical signals to digital image. This measurement system takes the advantages of DSP's high performance in data processing, CMOS image sensor's high performance with low cost and the designing flexibility of CPLD. It converts measurements of lens's parameters into digital image processing and calculation of data got from the image by modeling to the optical system. Meanwhile, the measuring and result can be displayed at real time on a LCD which is driven by a special LCD driver. This completely changed the measuring method of lens parameters and great improvement has been made in measurement precision, displaying and operation convenience.
