This paper introduces the theory and construct of switched reluctance driver based on Digital Signal Processor. The switched reluctance motor control system takes on the merits, both simpleness, firmness and brushless of AC drive system and flexible control of DC drive system, achieves full-digital control. Since it have the advantage of wide-range drive, low start current, high precision in speed, full protection and it can be start or stop frequently, the research of SRD have gradually developed into a hotspot in academe in the recent years.This thesis is divided in seventh parts. In the first part, we introduced the development and main character of SRD. In the mean time we analyzed the research direction briefly. In the second part, we described the construct linear model. This provides the arithmetic foundation for the decision of the control strategy. In the third part, we brought forward a new approach of DSP aimed at the problems in the former solution of signal chip. The fourth part includes the arithmetic analyses of the real-time control request of SRD. In the fifth part, we analyzed all the hardware of the controller one by one and put forward a designation based on TMS320LF2407A. Combined with digital PID and fuzzy control, we use the PWM module to chop current and implement angel control. This solution makes the system compact and robust. The software section is in the sixth part. We implemented the modularization programming method to design the whole software system. We gave the chief flow chart. It can make the maintenance easily and better readability. The designation about the power convenor is in the seventh part. We analyzed the power electronics apparatus and drive circuit briefly.
