Study On Key Technologies Of First Product Correct And Its Application

In order to solve the problems that exist in traditional product development, on the basis of summarizing relevant technological experience, such as CIMS, Concurrent Engineering, etc, First Product Correct (FPC) was proposed by the Integrated Manufacturing Technology Initiative in the United States. First Product Correct is the ability to transition from design concept to a finished product with absolute certainty of a correct result. Emphasis is also put on the ability to transition production from one to many without interruption. The purpose is to integrate product development, eliminate cost, get the right product to the customer in less time, and avoid risks of product development.Firstly, this dissertation analyses comprehensively the present researches, development trends and the problems about FPC both at home and abroad. On the basis of research on integrated product manufacture /assembly development, puts forward integrated assembly development system and integrated manufacturing development system, and sets up activity model for the conceptual design process and object model for classes used in conceptual design. The main purpose of the model development is to provide foundation for realizing integrated product manufacture /assembly development.Based on the theory of First Product Correct (FPC), this dissertation focuses on the mathematics model and algorithm of tolerance optimization design for cam, develops a software about tolerance optimization design for cam mechanism, and gives corresponding analysis and calculation. The result shows that though such method we can efficiently obtain first tolerance design optimum for cam mechanism, and thus realizes First Product Correct (FPC).Corporate culture is one of the key functional elements in functional model for FPC. Though the studies on the terms of implementing corporate culture for FPC, the dissertation demonstrates its support to integrated product /process development and the main points of revolution in group's corporate culture.
