Blood pressure is one of the important index that reflect physiologicalcharacter of person, normal blood pressure is the important condition ofprotecting healthiness, its measurement results possess importantly clinicalmeaning for disease diagnosis and treatment way. Although ABPM is widelyused in the clinic, the gap of same product is about 10-20 years between homeand abroad. Therefore, it is important for improving people health level andreducing medical treatment fee to develop ambulatory blood pressure monitorwith internationally advanced level and independent information propertyright. This paper mainly discuss the development work of new generation bloodpressure measurement system-the ambulatory blood pressure monitorer thatmay be applied to hospital clinic. This paper detailedly introduce present state of blood pressuremeasurement system home and abroad, and analyze blood pressuremeasurement theory and realization way. On the basis of these, this paperanalyze and research the superiority of this instrument development, and adoptto equal interval ladder deflation mode with quick measure and powerfulanti-jamming capacity, and educe calculation formula of correlative work,which offer theoretical foundation for blood pressure measurement andimproving measurement precision. This paper detailedly introduce the design course of every functionmodules, including software module and hardware module. The softwaremodule is emphases of this task, includeing blood pressure analysis, dataprocessing and communication and so on, which respectively make use of VBand 51 assemble language to accomplish software. At last the designer carryout debugging, calibration and error analysis for the whole system hardwareand software to fulfil the clinical use need.
