Ground compaction job is a important foundational project of earthwork construction water power engineering civil engineering and city planning engineering etc. Good compaction can evidently improve ground's carrying capacity and stability and can reduce or remove the subside of the base, so that every project in using have a very steady base.Auto-walk vibration rolling tamping machine(hereinafter shortened form: rolling tamper) is a multiple-freedom vibratory system. In fact it is limited by a lot of factors, so people always simplify it as a two or three-freedom mathematics model. When analysis the vibrating absorption capability, people simplify it again. The thesis not only induct ADAMS software to the simulation of rolling tamper, but alsoconstruct the virtual prototyping model with it. Through the author's careful studying the oldprototyping, several shortcomings have been found. In order to increase the walking speed ofthe rolling ramper, optimize the structure and remedy its shortage, the paper, on the basis ofdeeply r esearching t he p rincipal t heory of rolling t amper, b ring forward t wo n ew d ifferentadvanced models. Then aiming at these models, the paper establish their correspondingsystem kinematic differential equations. Through emulating in the various working condition, all kinds of system dynamic responses for various parameters have been gained. The papergot the detailed results that how the change of the structural parameters and the soilparameters joining in vibration influence the stability and walking velocity of the system.Meanwhile , the paper got the optimal structural and run-time parameters, and acquired themain factors limiting walking speed of rolling tamper and their optimal values. To validatethese simulated results, the thesis emulated the old model , had a experiment on the oldprototyping, compared them and found the emulational results is similar to the experimentalresults very much. That is to say, Using ADAMS software to emulate and optimize the systemof rolling tamper is of dependability and feasibility. At last, the paper have a transverse contrast among the three models--old model two advanced models, the two advanced models showed their absolute superiorities in the aspects of the walking speed and stability of the system. It may has some reference value in some way by using the result of this thesis, such as in the side of the whole machine design and capability research, etc.
