Ultrasonic non-destructive testing method is one of the most important testing method, in the past several decade of its come into being and development, the testing method and these related technologies have been developed greatly, it do require ultrasonic testing to develop rapidly. Heavy steel plates testing have important significance for us specially. Our research is focus on multi-channel ultrasonic testing system. We can use different probe on different channel according to different circumstance. It improves testing efficiency. Testing depth, testing sampling rate and veracity of flaw orientation are basic guideline. The following are main achievements of this thesis:We complete the design of digital multi-channel ultrasonic testing apparatus under industrial environment using top grade PC/104 based industrial computer. Design a five-channel ultrasonic testing card, we use high speed A/D converter to realize 200M Hz sampling rate. This make our testing more accurate and help us to gain correct peak value.Design USB hardware and software interface, allow high speed data transmission between testing card and PC/104 module. The USB interface make it impossible for PC/104 to control several channels synchronously and not necessary to switch channels continually.Rebuild emission and incept section, make each channel can using single-crystal or dual-crystal.
