The restoration of power system after a complete blackout is a very important problem. A decision support system for black-start can help dispatchers to establish black-start schemes and restore power system as soon as possible. Combining topology analysis technology with expert system, how to make power system black-start schemes is investigated in this thesis. An automatic derivation and assessment system of black-start schemes is developed and integrated into a decision support system for black-start. The system developed in the thesis can automatically derivate a group of black-start schemes according to the real-time state of a power network. Making use of Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and database based on expert experience, the system can assess these schemes and arrange them in order so that scientific and instructive decision reference can be provided to the dispatchers.
