Microcomputer Protection and Automatic Approximate Synchronous Switching of Ship Power Station is an important content with the development of Ship Power Station Automatization.Designing the controller with MCU (Micro Control Unit) instead of separate components is the development tendency of Ship Power Station Automatization.This paper introduces a design way of a new Ship Power Station Microcomputer protection set, which can not only monitor and display the electric power parameters of the power station, but also control and initialize their values by the input of a keyboard, making for the Automatic Switching of the ship power station. We use the 16-bit MCU named SPCE061A of Sunplus Company for gathering the electric power parameters and displaying and controlling them. In the same time, we use Max9000 series CPLD (Complex Programmable Logic Device) of Altera Company for measuring the frequency and phase of the electric power parameters.
