With the emergence and application of new technologies,the automation technology of ship power stations is also constantly improving.At present,the shipping industry is at the key point of industrial upgrading.As a field in which the maritime powers of the 21st century are competing for research,smart ships have entered the fast track of development.In order to meet the requirements of the intelligent ship concept,the future ship power station automation system needs to realize the data exchange between ships and ships and shore,and to achieve the goal of simultaneously monitoring the operation of the ship’s power system in different places.Through PLC controller and supporting monitoring hardware equipment,ship power station automation and remote monitoring system collect,integrate and process various data at the ship power station and remote monitoring site,and finally realize the common and cooperative operation between ship and ship,ship and shore Claim.The modular design concept is adopted to divide the system into two parts.Ship power station automation is a necessary part of the normal operation of the ship’s power system.It controls the entire ship’s power generation,distribution,and electrical equipment to improve the quality,economy,and reliability of the ship electric power.The remote VPN control system is responsible for building a stable and safe data transmission channel,real-time mastering the various parameters of the control ship,and ensuring the reliable connection between the ship/shore.The system chooses Siemens S7-1200 PLC to realize the main functions of the ship’s power station automation system,and chooses ASUS RT-AC86U router to build a dedicated VPN network through Virtual Private Network(Virtual Private Network,VPN)technology to ensure the safety and reliability of remote transmission of data from the ship’s power system.The entire system is mainly With the following functions:(1)It can successfully complete various functions of ship power station automation under different working conditions,such as automatic start of ship generator set,automatic quasi-synchronous paralleling,automatic frequency modulation and load regulation,light load delisting and automatic shutdown.(2)Build a stable and reliable VPN virtual private network,so that the system has a stable and reliable remote data transmission network,while using IPSec protocol to ensure the security of data transmission.(3)Design a dedicated monitoring system to monitor the overall operating status and various parameters of the ship’s power station in real time,and at the same time,real-time control of the ship’s power station automation function through the VPN network.The ship power station automation and remote monitoring system researched in this subject is based on the ship automation physics simulation power station platform.The on-board test proves that the system can work correctly and stably,and the expected design function is completed.
