The important problem all the world facing is that, on the earth the normal energy is not only limit, but make a lot of pollution when they are consumed. So every country is looking for the road to continuous and cleanly energy. On the current tendency, wind energy is widely concerned by man because it can't be used up forever. During the process of switching electrical energy, it doesn't produce any bad gas and waste and also doesn't pollute circumstance; it has the characteristics of using local materials and not requiring transportation.Many methods are applied such as constant speed constant frequency and variable speed constant frequency during the process of switching electrical energy. The former is simple and easy to apply, the shortcoming is the method can't make full use of wind energy. But the latter can do so and the variable speed constant frequency is main target every developed country studied. In the paper ,based on the relative fledged control system of AC excitation doubly-fed generator in wind energy application technology in the day, the controller in the core of 8XC196MC is designed, which can cause generator variable speed constant frequency power.In the paper, first the advantage of variable speed constant frequency is discussed compared to constant speed constant frequency and build the mathematical model on the basis of the structure of AC excitation doubly-fed generator. To simply the model, vector control equation is deduced by coordinate transform. According to the academic analysis of the doubly-fed generator power regulation characteristic, mathematical model such as power factor and power angle characteristic and active power control is built and obtain the relation between generator parameter and control parameter and power regulation characteristic and at last simulation test is done. Secondly, one novel method called power factor mode is advanced The method can achieve indirectly the control of reactive and active power decoupling and greatly simple the control method. Lastly, one 15KW variable speed constant frequency doubly-fed generator test system which is controlled by 8XC196MC is set up. The variable current partused IGBT and peripheral detection and processing circuit are designed. I only completed simply variable speed constant frequency test and synchronization test because of time and equipment.
