With the rapid development of electronic facilities as well as energy and environmental concerns, people have made high demands on batteries. Li-ion batteries are widely used for their favorable advantages of high voltage, big specific capacity, long cycling life and less pollution. As the first polymer which was synthesized by human, prussian blue has been studied in many scopes from 1704 when it was discover. The studied object was from prussian blue to its derivates. Prussian blue and its derivates have many excellent characteristics like electrochemistry reversibility, high stability, low cost and easy synthesis. Therefore prussian blue and its derivates have good future in modified electrode and electrochromic displays. In this work, prussian blue derivates have been studied as a new type of electrode material for lithium secondary battery. Three different prussian blue derivates have been synthesized, and characterized with XRD, IR, TG-DTA and conductance ratio. Based on this, different simulated batteryhave been assembled and their abilities of charge-discharge have been tested. The resoults show that the simulated battery with NaFe[Fe(CN)6] aq or LiFe[Fe(CN)6] aq get basic good curves. The curves show Na+ and Li+ embed and emerge easily in [FeFe(CN)6]. Therefore prussian blue derivates have a very wide applied foreground. On the other hand, chitosan film as battery membrane has also been studied. The research show that the chitosan film has lower charge voltage and higher discharge voltage than the widely used.polypropylene film. So the chitosan is an excellent battery membrane material which has not been reported.
