Prestressed spatial truss string structure is derived from Beam String Structure. The stress of its members is succinct and definite. Tension and compression members complement each other and cooperate to making full use of advantages of different materials. In a word, this structure is a typical hybrid system with the combination of rigid and flexibility in large span structures. Because of the reasonable mechanical behavior of prestressed spatial truss string structure and the broad developmental space of large span structure in our country, it is sure that the structure will be used more and more widely.As one of the most forelands in space structure, present study on prestressed spatial truss string structure is short of exhaustion and systematicness. Based on the existing researching findings on Beam String Structure and prestressed spatial truss string structure, taking use of the large common finite element program ANSYS, this paper mainly focuses on the following things:(1)Taking use of the APDL(ANSYS Parametric Design Language) in ANSYS, this paper develop the special parametric program for the model building and the solution of the prestressed spatial truss string structure, which settles firm base for the intensive study of the mechanical behavior and the optimization design of the structure.(2)The static behavior of one prestressed spatial truss string structure is analyzed systematically in this paper. The change of the structural internal forces and displacements with the rise-to-span ratio, sag ratio, prestress and the number of brace struts is studied and the influence of these parameters on the mechanical behavior is discussed compressively in detail.(3)To adapt to the complicated conditions of real projects, the form of the prestressed spatial truss string structure is always needed to be modified properly. The influence of the rotation of the structure and the layout of brace struts on the mechanical behavior is discussed in this paper.(4) To meet the challenge of the design for different span projects, the influence of the major parameters on the mechanical behavior at different spans is analyzed in this paper. The variation rule of these parameters with the span is discussed in this paper, which provides thereunder for project designs.(5)Modal and dynamic parameters analysis for prestressed spatial truss string structure is conducted in this paper, which helps us acquaint the variation features of the frequency and the mode. The analysis of the major dynamic parameters on the basic dynamic behavior is discussed in this paper, which settles base for the intensive study of the structural dynamic behavior.
