| As Beam String Structure (BSS) is more and more adopted in China, researches on its mechanical performance have been developed. Static load bearing capacity and dynamic response of BSS are key problems needed to be solved, and attracting quite a lot attention of engineers and researchers. Has been concluded on the basis of research results, This paper Surrounds the key issues of the practical application need to address to do the following research work:1,According to the structural characteristics of BSS, its FEA calculating model is built for static and dynamic analysis.2,In the paper ,the form finding of BSS is studies. And initial strain inverse iteration method which could complete the form finding with High accuracy is put forward.3,Use the design optimization module of ANSYS to optimize the prestress.4,For structural design reference, the influence on mechanical performance of single Beam String Structure made by number of struts, rise-span ratio is discussed in combination.5,The free vibration performance of BSS is investigated with ANSYS, a FEA calculation software. Through multi-parameter analyses, the effects of such factors as strut number, prestress and ratio of rise to span etc. on the dynamic performance of BSS in two kinds of supporting conditions are clarified.6,The response spectrum analysis of BSS are conducted by acceleration spectrum into ANSYS. Through analyses, the effects of such factors as strut number, prestress and ratio of rise to span etc. on seismic response of BSS in two kinds of supporting conditions are made clear, and some useful suggestions to seismic design are drawn. |
