Research Of 110kV-line Computer-based Protection Relay

Protection relay is the most important tool to make the power system work safely and improves the quality of power energy. With the expansion of the power system and the consumer raising higher requirement for quality of power energy,the protection relay must be improved greatly and fulfill the high requirement.This subject of this articles is the research of 110kv-line computer-basesd protection relay.This paper introduces the developing history, the actuality,new developing aspect of computer-based relay protection. With a practical example of a transformer substation, it describes the design about computer-based protection realy of 110-kv lines. This paper particular discusses the configuring and working principle of line protection, analyzes and designs the hardware of the equipment, puts up a software design.The dynamic simulation experiment validates the correctness and reliability of the hardware and the software.
