Rockfill dams springed up once more at the end of 1960s' in the word. It has been an important and competitive dam type, because of security, economic and adaptability. The terrain of construction field has big effect on the high rockfill dam with the characters of great fill quantity and high fill intensity. The material planning of rockfill dam is the center issue of controlling construction schedule and determining investment. Material planning only analysis qualitatively according to the rules up to now. The result of material planning isn't economical enough, because the rules don't deal with the characters of the dynamic construction process and the restricts of road intensity , cross intensity and using transport machines equably.Combining the material planning with transportation simulation has important effect on realizing academic optimization and practicability of material planning in this dissertation. Material planning researchs on the direction and quantity of earth-rock currents. On basis of material planning result, transportation simulation researchs on the feasibility of material planning microcosmicly, which helps to establish material planning model and correct the result of material planning. Moreover, there are progresses about material planning and transportation simulation in the dissertation. A multiobjective dynamic optimization model is established aiming to the objectives of distance and intensity of transportation. A simulation model for the primary taches of transportation simulation is established, which describes the sevice flows elaborately.At last, the object-oriented technology is used in the analysis ,. design and implementation of simulation software. The simulation model is more universal and establishing , mending, recombining, management became easier. Obtaining the primary parameter of the 5th stage for one hydropower project which construction intensity is highest, through material transportation simulation.
