Aircraft Conceptual Design is a design process with the purpose of satisfying customer's requirements. There are two equally important aspects of aircraft design: design layout and design analysis. At first, we select the type of aircraft and calculate the Aircraft Configuration Parameter. Secondly, we do many works including programming, analyzing and amending to make the design more and more perfect, so as to meet the design requirements properly. The design process assort with some disciplines such as aerodynamics, structures, controls and propulsion etc, make compromise with conflictive objects. It is an iterative process.Optimization for the Aircraft Conceptual Parameter is one of missions of Aircraft Conceptual Design. If the design objectives are opposing, it is impossible that all objectives are best (ideal state). We must find the best possible design which still satisfies the opposing objectives. It means that we find some pareto solutions in the multiobjective optimization problem. The design methods are developed and applied to multiobjective optimization for the Large Transports Conception Design (LTCD). The multiobjective optimization algorithms in this paper include K-S (Kreisselmeter-Steinhauser) optimization method, Global Criterion method and Penalty Function Method. The Design Methods in this paper play an important role in the Aircraft Conception Design.A software is developed and applied to aircraft conception design and optimization. With the development of aeronautic techniques, it is necessary to satisfy requirements of the complex aircraft conception design for military and civilian purposes. The paper involves discussions about the framework of the software, diagram flow and the key techniques. The key techniques include DLL(Dynamic Link Library), Modularization and OpenGL. The software has three modules: design module, optimization module and graphics module. The software has convenient utilities because of its convenience, friendly interface and function expandability. The software will be an important tool for engineers of aircraft conception design.
