The author participated in the supply power design for Yuanchao Company, the demand of the supply power is to power for 2kg/h ozonier stably.After having finished the design, the author considers the power supply in Yuanchao Company is working in hard switch condition, and exist some questions, such as low working frequency, big switching loss, big switch stress, difficultly increasing the output power. To solver these questions, the power supply for DBD circuit is analyzed in details in the paper.The main research content in this paper is to provide high performance power supply for DBD (Dielectric Barrier Discharge) circuit. The research content can be summed up as follows.(1) Based on analyzing the DBD circuit powered by sinusoidal voltage source detailed, some equations about the kind of the circuit are deduced. By making using of these equations, a widespread expression about the kind of the circuit is corrected, circuit characteristics are discussed and a kind of fundamental wave equivalent circuit is presented firstly. This fundamental wave equivalent circuit is made up of a nonlinear resistor in parallel with a nonlinear capacitor. The theory about DBD circuit is validated by experiment.This equivalent circuit is used to analyze the DBD circuit in the paper, and draw some conclusions. These conclusions will be benefit to the design of the DBD circuit powered directly by commercial power system via transformer.(2) The DBD circuit powered by full bridge series resonant inverter is studied. By analyzing the on-off conditions of the power switch and the states of the discharge or not in DBD circuit, the working modes of the DBD circuit are gotten and equations are deduced. Based on these equations, the engineering design expressions are made. The design expressions can help the designer to design the high performance power supply for DBD ciruit.(3) In order to realize ZVS (Zero-Voltage-Switch), the topology structure of ZVSPWM circuit is replanted to series resonant DBD circuit, and a general equivalent circuit is proposed to analyze switch transition process of FB (Full _Bridge) inverter. Based on the equivalent circuit, some equations are deduced. By these equations, the highest working frequency of ZVSPWM and DBD circuit powered by series resonant inverter is researched and the engineer design expressions of the circuit are obtained.Experiment result validates the equations and expressions. It indicates that these equations and expressions are used not only in designing the soft switch in series resonant circuit but also in calculating the parameters in the original ZVSPWM circuit. (4) The way of computer simulation and experiment is used to validate the conclusion of (2) and (3); moreover some experiment waves are provided.
