On the basis of studying the screw compressor rotor profile, by using the equation of rotor profile and its contact-line, the analytic equations of the leakage area and the basic-volume of the compressor with the Unilateral-unsymmetrical Cycloid-arc Profile, are set up in this paper. Those analytic equations also can be applied to the compressors with the similar rotor profiles. This paper gives some analysis of the working process of the screw compressor with economizer, separates it into three stages: quasi-compression process of the low stage, charge-compression stage, and quasi-compression process of high stage, sets up the mathematical models and its solution of the actual process. The capability increscence of the screw compressor with R717 and R22 after using the economizer has been calculated.By analyzing and studying the practical influenced factors such as the temperature difference of the economizer's heat exchanged, the leakage and oil-injection of the compressor etc, on the capability of the recurrence with the economizer, Some valuable advice about the screw compressor design and the recurrence design has been given. A new special economical experimental unit which applies to the R717 recurrence system of the screw compressor with the economizer has been designed and set up. The experiential results of the single stage recurrence and recurrence with the economizer, such as refrigerating capacity, shaft power, volumetric efficiency etc, under different conditions are got from the experiments. The author analyze and the calculate results of theory in this paper. The experiential results are very useful in the engineering design.
