For multi-excitabilities of vibrating and complexity of fault diagnosis on the hermetic refrigerating compressor, based on wavelet transform and wavelet packet which developed in recent years, and unifies wavelet analysis approach assistanced by MATLAB, a new and effective method for fault diagnosis on hermetic refrigerating compressor based on traditional fault diagnosis method and classical signal analysis method is explored in the article, which opens up a train of new thought for fault diagnosis on hermetic refrigerating compressor.The research on the article mainly includes the following several aspects: First, the article introduces the structure and mechanical mechanics characteristic of the hermetic refrigerating compressor. In that foundation, the article narrates how to obtain vibration signal of hermetic refrigerating compressor, as well as some items which need to pay attention in this process. Next, the article introduces the theory of Wavelet and Wavelet Packet, discusses some correlation theories and the characteristics respectively, analysis their application on fault diagnosis, and proves their practicability and high efficient with the actual instances of hermetic refrigerating compressor. Finally, this article extracts three common kinds of fault form of valve plate, establishes fault diagnosis model of valve plate of hermetic refrigerating compressor, which would serve for fault diagnosis of hermetic refrigerating compressor.The fault diagnosis on hermetic refrigerating compressor is a long-term, consummated unceasingly work, the article only inquire into it beneficially, some questions are waited for further study.
