Ba Shu mountainous Buddhist and Taoist temples are mountainous architecture and garden complex of intensively regionally characteristic.They come into being in Ba Shu environment of geography, climate and civilization.The man-made setting of Buddhist and Taoist temples are banded together with natural surroundings. They look as if folk buildings and reflect elegant, free and easy, unpretending architectural spirits.The aesthetic process of Ba Shu mountainous Buddhist and Taoist temples have four steps: aesthetic apperceive,aesthetic comprehend,aesthetic imagine and aesthetic emotion.These steps are corresponding with three levels.The first level is the apperceive of natural surroundings and the man-made setting.The second level is the full comprehend about architectural sculpt form.Through fancying the garden and architectural form, aesthetic subjects can achieve emotional satisfaction-this is the last level.From three level of aesthetic process,it can form a particular aesthetic experience about Ba Shu mountainous Buddhist and Taoist temples .The author tries to analyse the aesthetic process of Ba Shu mountainous Buddhist and Taoist temples in this thesis,and to gain the universal meanning of traditional architecture and garden of Ba Shu trait.It can make us carry on and carry forward the traditional architectural aesthetic spirit, and actively absorb availability elements on the West's architecture aesthetics and culture at the same time.The author believes that the contemporary architectural art of Ba Shu maybe can be created by this way.
