With the development of automobile consumption and highway-network in China, security and economy characteristics of automobile are increasingly regarded. As a active security technology, Cruise Control System (CCS) will be extensively developed. Therefore, it is very important how to adopt manipulative technology to manufacture and exploit CCS to suit our country traffic status and apply sorts of vehicle. The CCS of Continuously variable transmission (CVT) vehicle is complicated and large inertial non-linear system, which is very affected by outside environment, such as road surface and wind, and so on. So it is most difficult to build precise mathematic model for CCS. But the rapid development of neural network and fuzzy controller theory supply means for solving this question.This paper aim at the techniques of CVT vehicle CCS to do lots of researches, including follow contents:The neural network and fuzzy controller is combined to do research of fuzzy-neu ral control means. In order to validate theoretic deduction, engine is simulated, compare effect of this control mean with that of other control means.Based on the engine JL474q1experiment, to build continuously variable transmits-sion steady, non-load and dynamic torque model, fuel consumption model and characteristic model by fuzzy controller theory, which provide elements for realizing optimal match of engine and transmission system and EIP engine model in transmission system being operated.Continuously variable transmission dynamic characteristic model and systemstate equations is built, emphasizing on control strategies of lock-up clutch of torque convert and speed ratio control model of CVT and emphasizing on control strategies of lock-up clutch of torque convert and speed ratio control model of CVT. In order to validate continuously variable transmission dynamic characteristic model and control strategy of CVT transmission system dynamic characteristic model, simulation is processed.The fuzzy-neural means to realize Cruise Control System of CVT transmission vehicles is processed, and the model is being trained. The simulation is processed under different driving condition and uncertain system parameter, in order to validate control precision, self-adaptive and correcting ability.
