Mixing into active mineral additives is one of the necessary conditions for making HPC Adding mineral micro powder not only earns better economic returns, but also improves workability, mechanical property and durability of concrete. The most used mineral additives include pulverized blast-furnace slag, fly ash and silicon ash, on which internal and foreign experts have done a lot of researches about its betterment on concrete property.Titanium slag of Panzhihua iron and steel plant (PISP) is an acid mineral slag, which has high Titanium content but low activity. Since past little research has been done on it, one way for high value integrated presage of PISP's Titanium slag isn't found out yet until now. Limited to process technology, PISP' Titanium slag is assorted two type of end slag: hydro titanium slags with some activity and slow cooling heavy Titanium slag. This subject use physical and chemical means to activate Titanium slag, compounded with common pulverized blast-furnace slag, alkali Titanium slag -cinder mortar is made up with .The 28d compression strength reaches 40~70MPa. Alkali Titanium slag -cinder concrete is also made up, whose compression strength exceeds 50Mpa within 28d and reaches 90MPa within 90d. Alkali Titanium slag -cinder concrete's compression strength can reach 98MPa when adopting heating-activation. Using macro and micro testing methods, through compression test, antiflex test, sulfuric acid corrosions, chloride ion infiltrating and man-made sea water corrosion tests, mechanical property, workability and durability of Titanium slag concrete and Alkali Titanium slag -cinder concrete are explored. The test results shows that Titanium slag as active can improve the workability of concrete, enlarge long-term strength' development space, increase the anti-chloride ion permeability. And that harden Alkali Titanium slag -cinder concrete owns good mechanical property, excellent acid-resistance and anti seawater corrosion performance. In acid environment or man-made seawater circumstance, then strength of Alkali Titanium slag -cinder concrete keeps growing. Weak acid hardly corrodes Alkali Titanium slag -cinder concrete. Alkali Titanium slag -cinder concrete can be applied in heavy acid raining area as concrete construction and parts of harbor work. Moreover, the subject makes up whole Titanium slag concrete, the crushing limestone spall and medium sand of which are replaced by crushing heavy Titanium slag. The experiments indicates that theconcrete owns stable mechanical property, the 28d compression strength reaches 50MPa and up, the 90d compression strength achieves 70MPa, have excellent acid-resistance and anti sea water corrosion performance, is suitable for sound-proofing roadway concrete.Durability of concrete is an important subject respected by international engineering circle. Due to the climate and geographical circumstance of our country, in southwest area, especially Chongqing, acid precipitation is very serious. Acid rainfall or acid gas causes serious damage to reinforce concrete, especially some human landscapes, historical buildings and ancient relics. This subject aims at the endemic feature of southwest area, uses locally produced raw material, PISP's Titanium slag, to make up acid proofing Alkali Titanium slag -cinder concrete. The binding material of Alkali Titanium slag -cinder concrete is almost industrial residue and contains minute quantity clinker. So Alkali Titanium slags -cinder concrete is one green building material, which do well to ecotype-protection. This subject discusses one way for high value integrated presage of PISP's Titanium slag, utilizing the specific Titanium slag of southwest area, makes up the acid resistant concrete to meet southwest area's need, earns good economic, environmental and social returns.Seeing that titanium slag used in experiment is bubble slag, author can give the proposal that Pangang should improve the method to get slag, which has good activated.
