The Traffic Signal Control System Based On Time Distributing

The intelligent transportation system (ITS), can not use in lateral street in big city and small town in our country, for its huge invest. In our country, those crossings often use fixed Cyc red and green light. With the economic development, the traffic flow fluctuates in time disciplinarian. According to the best Cyc formula, the red green light Cyc should change with traffic flow change. So we bring forward the traffic signal control system bases on time distributing. We investigated the traffic flow and the red green light Cyc at Yanzhou Group ZhongQu crossing. We design the system from the investigation. The hard ware of the traffic signal control system bases on time distributing can divide into: main module, input and display module, clock module, output module, LED display module, memory module and communication module. In the design of system hardware, introducing the function of each module and the choosing of chips. And brings forward the design of bar display red green light. The software of system can divide into: initialization module, circulative display module, interrupting module, LED driver module, read clock and write clock module, keyboard and display module. The red green displaying is controlled by circulative display module, and changing the Cyc by the interrupting module, driver the bar display LED red green light by LED driver module. In the end, we design the system program.
