Oil deficiency and environment pollution are two crucial and global problems. Many countries are developing energy saved and environment protection vehicles in order to resolve those two problems. Electric vehicle (EV) is now becoming one of the developing trends of the automotive industry. However, at present, the battery taken by EV has the disadvantage of big volume, low energy density and long time to charge, And all these limit the development of EV. In resent years, the proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) with its high conversion efficiency, high energy density, and no charge is taken on EV; But with the disadvantage of expensive, worse cold startup performance and shortage power in support. So to research with fuel cell and battery as power of EV has very fact significance, and this has been studied in overseas corporations. For the sake of exerting its superiority, it is important to match reasonably this hybrid system. This paper includes several researches as follows:Firstly, Based on relative references, the method for selecting the performance target of fuel cell/battery hybrid vehicle is proposed, and the theories and methods for parameter design of fuel cell/battery hybrid vehicle powertrain are presented. For the sake of comparing, the powertrain of the Focus are redone, and the parameters of powrtrain are confirmed.Secondly, the simulation application software Advanced Vehicle Simulator (ADVISOR) has been studied. At the basis of ADVOSOR, this software is improved for the characteristics of home products, so that it can simulate for the fuel cell/battery hybrid vehicle.Thirdly, the power control system of this hybrid vehicle is researched, and the drive mode with different control strategies is analyzed. The power follower strategy is realized in the software ADVISOR.Finally, combining the above researching with each other, we use the re-developed simulation software to simulate the performance of this hybrid vehicle. The results show that the matching of this power system are reasonable and can satisfy the performance target. The dynamics performance of this hybrid vehicle is more excellent than the Focus. According to the performance of different SOC, it can be validated that the power is distributed with power follower strategy. In the end of thesis, the performance of this hybrid vehicle with different hybrid scale, furthermore, it can validate that theparameter confirmed is very reasonable.Combining the above researching, the type of power assembly is selected and the parameter is ascertained, and the corresponding proof is provided in this paper. So, it has a certain of realistic meaning to push the research of our new hybrid vehicle.
