The energy-saving performance, as a high-power equipment, will directly affect the economics and reliability of Hydraulic piling rig. The coordination of power matching among the engine, hydraulic pump and load of the SWDM-20 multi-function Hydraulic piling rig are studied theoretically and experimentally in this paper.The main research works are as follows:1,The development of Matching and Control Strategy of Hydraulic piling rig system is surveyed and the characteristics and working conditions for the system are analyzed subsequently. The motive of presented work is to reduce the energy loss due to the improper power matching after the analysis of the main energy losses of power for head driving system.2,The relationships between fuel consumption of engine and the frequency and amplitude of speed fluctuation are analyzed. The influence of variety load on the performance of engine is investigated and the mutative power control of engine is realized by adjust the rotational speed feedback control for engine and the speed governor control, which make the output power of engine and absorb power of pump cooperation. The PID control method with dead-band and mathematical model of engine and throttle-executor are developed, which can reduce the violent speed fluctuation of engine and avoid frequently adjusting the throttle-executor.3,The power matching between engine and variable pump is realized by combining the rotational speed feedback control of engine-variable pump system with the load-limit control for the variable pump, and eliminate general power storage of the engine, then the engine power is efficiently used. The rotational speed feedback load-limit control is realized based on A8VO variable pump, then the adjusting mechanism of the system is analyzed.4,In order to optimize the performance of the rotational speed feedback control system, the method of fuzzy self-adaptive PID control is used. The physical model of the system was built with AMESim, then Fuzzy-PID controller was designed using the Matlab-Fuzzy toolbox. The advantages of the Fuzzy-PID method is proved by a co-simulation based on MATLAB and AMESim for the system, the reference value for fuzzy controlling parameter Kp,K1 and KD are given, then the quantization factor of input E and EC are obtained by combining with the influential principles of quantization factor on the dynamic performance with the simulation research.5,Taking the SWDM-20 Hydraulic piling rig as the experimental platform, The test for analyzing the energy saving control system are carried out based on SWDM-20 Hydraulic piling rig and the method of power matching among the engine, hydraulic pump and load is validated.
