The ash studied in this paper is produced by a circulating fluidized bed (CFB) boiler. Its mainly element ingredients are CaSO4, (Al2 Ca)Si2O8, CaO, C etc. As in China, majority of electricity power depends on the CFB boiler that is affected by the discharge control of the flue gas, and which has possessed of the capability of denitration and desulfidation, has been spread rapidly in recent years, and results in billions of tons of ash. Because of the huge amount ash produced by plant is primarily dealt with by landfill, which not only occupies the space of the earth, increase the cost of the plant, but also pollute the earth and water to a certain degree and cause harm to human being's living circumstance.Solid waste comprehensive use is the best way to control solid waste pollution. Presently, common ash of the plant has been used in multiple and in great amount. But restrained by its features such as high content of carbide, high content of SO3 and low active compound, the using ways and amount of the ash are quite limited.The research is put the ash produced by the 100MW Gaoba power plant in Neijiang City as the research object. On the basis of a all-round investigation on the present situation of comprehensive use ash in our country, this paper presents the basic feature of the ash, discusses the technical ways of comprehensive use and researches the technique which produce silicon-containing fertilizer by using the ash.Development of ash's comprehensive use, which deals with waste with thewaste and turns the waste into the useful things, has both environmental and economical benefits and practical and long meanings for protection and continuable development of power plants.
