Over the 20 years since the reform and opening-up in 1978, the civil aviation industry of China obtained brilliant achievements and advanced with surprisingly giant strides at a speed three times higher than that of the Contracting States of ICAO consecutively for years. The annual average growth rate of China's air traffic performed approximately doubled that of the national economy, tripled that of the domestic transportation and four times that of the world air transport industry,of cause, civil aviation need good air traffic control. in this situation, the safe of the air traffic very depend on a high quality ATC system. Air Traffic Control system features an advanced Multi-Radar Fusion processing system and a next generation Flight Data Processing system. ATC system provides processing and high resolution color ATC displays for tower, terminal and en route applications. These ATC systems use sophisticated algorithms to combine a large number of radar signals into a highly accurate and reliable large geographic display for the ATC controller. The system uses commercial off-the-shelf computer hardware and modular, scalable software to provide air space managers with an economical, yet highly advanced surveillance system. These systems have been installed in major air route centers in Asia and are providing a cost-effective way for countries to expand their rapidly growing air space control needsThe Radar Data Processor (RDP) interfaces to multiple ATC radars, performs tracking and fusion of targets from one or multiple radar sources, velocity calculations, and prediction of aircraft tracks. Full Track Labels are available to present aircraft information. Aircraft mini-flight plans may be entered manually at the controller displays, to supplement the Flight Data Processor (FDP). Flight data is presented in Flight Lists to aid the controller in managing aircraft. The Flight Data Processing Subsystem uses state-of-the-art client/server database and processing technology in an open architecture environment to provide an effective and efficient platform for performing a variety of Air Traffic Supervisor, Air Traffic Control, Air Traffic Management and System Maintenance functions. The FDPS is based on UNIX and Windows NT operating systems. The Air Traffic Control display provides a variety of ATC control and surveillance functions. Controllers are provided with high-resolution graphical displays of aircraft position symbols along with Mode 3/A, and Mode C data from the aircraft. Velocity calculations, and flight plan information are also provided. To optimize the resource now we have ,and to be suitable for new department system ,It is necessary to reform the Multi-radar information proceed system in structure and technical problem.Thesis will discuss about these.Multi-sever separate in different site system will benefit our ATC system ,so we can combine several independent ATC system to one system without reduce the safety . thesis will indicate how the severs separateds system work ,and how we deal with the security and redundance .Thesis focus on the sever technology and system software architecture also the network technology .
