Research On Environment Of Toilet Of House For Aged Lived In City

With the growth of geriatric population, the aging problem is drawing more and more attention in the world. Since China is entering the aging society in the 21 century and the aging undertakings of China are on the beginning, the problem of old people's residential environment is very crucial. The residential problem of old people is the symbol of national power and material civilization. It has more universal and positive meaning for the realization of support of the old people, resident of the old people, medicare of the old people, entertainment of the old people, study of the old people, career of the old people to build the old people's residential environmental system that is suitable for our country.This paper chooses the toilet environment of the old people in Chinese city as the research object. It is proposed to connect the real requirement of old people and toilet –the heart of house. It finds out the condition of old people's toilet and their requirement of toilet by scientific survey and proper data analysis. Adopting the basic theory of architectonics, environment behavior science, somatology, gerontics, other related theory and research works, the paper is in search of the design model and quantitive standard of the house toilet environment that are suitable for the old people in different city and also present reasonable and feasible scheme for the rebuild and design of toilet to solve existent problem.By the introduction the global aging process, the aging condition and residential environment of the old person in our country, the paper present that it is the key for solving and improving the residential environment of old person to build house that is suitable to the old person 's behavior. Based on the analysis of old person 's physical, psychical and behavioral character, the paper choose the environment of old urban person's toilet as the research objective. By analyzing the spatial environment, facilities , equipment and fitment of the toilet, the paper propose that the environment design of old person's toilet should be around old person's requirement and should create a adaptive, pertinency, diversity, no-obstacle, consistent toilet environment.
