Research On Multi-functional Utilization Of Spaces Under Fixed Seats In Large Sports Buildings

For the 2008 Olympic games, many stadiums begin to build and rebuild in China. How to manage these large buildings are important to the economy development of Beijing city. While much useless space appear in the stadiums and gymnasiums after sports games in our country. When we put our eyes to the multi-function of the sports field, we should not forget the spaces under seats which hold 70% areas of the buildings.The thesis makes the spaces under fixed seats in the large sports buildings as the object, study technical questions with analogy and classification method.Starting with the design of the fixed seats, the thesis analyses the effects of the design of plan, section, evacuation and the form to the fixed seats. And point out the character of the spaces under fixed seats through studying the sidelines of them. It is the basis of all the study.Out of range of the design of fixed seats, the third section illuminates the four factors important to the space-using under seats, such as the site of sports building, the facilities, the structure, and the movable and temporary seats. And try to find the relationship between them.As the keystone, the fifth sections classify the methods to space use under fixed seats, based on the research on the stadiums in China and the analysis of some projects for 2008 Olympic national stadium competition. Finally, the thesis illustrates a practical process to confirm the conclusion and conclude the study.
