The Research On Flood Bank And Program Design Of Landscape In Chinese Urban Waterfront

There is close relationship between the origin of the city, the development of the city and the headwaters; however, due to the development of the city, the transformation of technology and the means of transport, plus the shift of the industry core, the function of urban waterfront is gradually declining with the development and the prosperity of economy, the progress of mankind civilization, the people's government in the city catch the opportunity that the officers in China attach importance to the construction of flood bank in the city and the improvement of dykes and dams of the great rivers, rapidly unfold a vigorous mass compain for the exploitation of the waterfront. The key of the exploitation and the development of the waterfront lies in the research of the achievement in the waterfront, therefore, when dealing with the construction of flood bank in the waterfront, we have to make a study for the relationship between the front bank of city and water, city, and landscape. Up till now, no literature has made a systematic research on the city flood control, the landscape plan and design, therefore, this thesis is greatly significant for the research on the connection between the city flood control and the landscape. Starting from the behaviour psychology, drawing lessons from the basic theory of humanistic science such as human engineering science, ecological ethics, adopting means such as photograph, drawing, observation, comparison and statistics and social questionnaire investigation, using the human's own experiences in waterfront, this thesis makes a systematic and exhaustive analysis on the relationship between the water and the development of the city, the historical status of the development in current situation, waterfront, especially the status of the flood control in the city and the landscape. Combing the present reality with the living examples, this thesis illustrates the principle of flood control in the city and the landscape design , the function model of landscape, and then proposes some detailed measures, based on the construction of dykes and dams, the practice of environmental landscape design, this thesis really reflects the central idea of 'human as the foundation.Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 mainly illustrate the background, the status, the orientation, the type and the characteristic of the research on waterfront. Chapter 3 and Chapter 4 mainly analyze the status of front control of the waterfront in our country and the landscape design. This thesis is aimed at the existing problem andproposes some front control measures and requirements. Chapter 5 analyzes the principle of the program design on the front control and landscape in our Chinese waterfront, in addition to the functional model of landscape, the main points of landscape design and flood bank. Chapter 6 analyzes the successful examples of city flood bank and the landscape design.
