The morphology of two-bank-waterfront city has the closest relation with river among waterfront cities. Under river-culture, this kind of cities holds long history and good landscape. There are many famous cities growing with a river, such as Paris and London. In china, wide drainage basin fosters plenty of two-bank-waterfront cities, which have splendid culture, such as Shanghai, Guangzhou and so on.With rapid development of urbanization in china, two-bank-waterfront city is exerted great effect on the traditional morphology so that the characteristic of clime and region of adjacent water town becomes fading. Huangqi is a typical city, which grows up with Zhujiang River, and it is in the severe state. Huangqi Regulatory Planning and Urban Design as the real project, this thesis makes the research on how to blend the reconstruction of outside spatial form of city and inside local culture and custom, from two aspects that are close relationship with water and local culture-custom. And, the thesis studies the landscape in two-bank-waterfront city. In addition, the thesis explores the feasible method to solve problem rural-in-urban of new city.
