The direct torque control is controlling torque and rotational speed through regulating stator magnetism chain rotation speed by space voltage vector on the premise of keeping the stator magnetism chain invariable in amplitude. This article reviews the developing history of the direct torque control technology, explains in detail the direct torque control principle, sets up the mathematics model of the synchronous permanent magnet motor systematically, discusses the hardware which makes up direct torque control system, uses emulation software SIMULINK to carry on the modeling and emulation to the ideal permanent magnet synchronous motor direct torque control system finally. The emulation result indicates the feasibility that direct torque control applies to permanent magnetic synchronous motor, simple control structure and the good dynamic respond characteristic of this kind of method.
