Abstract: A Advanced-Phaser for reactive compensation of high power windings rotor asynchronous motor based on AC double-fed motor theory is designed in this paper. On the basis nf analyzing the motor's mathematic model in the d-q reference frame, the system is set up and the reactive compensation project is formulated. After verifying system's correctness by MATLAB simulation, an experiment is carried out and its results testify the validity and the practicality of the design. And to compensate the reactive energy of asynchronous motor, a kind of simple and efficiency transducer and a new method that limit the startup current is brought forward, correlative experiments are carried out and results are given out.
